Information • Cyprus has 5 small cities: Nicosia (capital), Limassol, Larnaca, Famagusta, Pafos, Kerynia. • About 35.4% of the Republic's territory is under Turkish army occupation since the summer of 1974, while a further 1.8% forms part of the buffer zone along the cease-fire line Cyprus Educational Reform Association
