  3. African Americans • Major influences from Polka, Waltzes, and other European styles. • Instruments: Banjo, Lute, Sanza, Ivory Horn, Balafon, armpit drum

  4. Mexican Americans • Music that originated from Latin Origins, very colorful • Instruments: Maracas And WoodFlutes, Trumpets, Mexican Folk Harp, High Pitched Round-backed guitar,Guitarron (bass guitar)

  5. Scottish • Scotland is known for their traditional music • Instrument: Great Highland Bagpipe • The harp tradition was lost through extinction

  6. Native Americans • Primarily a vocal art, usually choral, although some nations favor solo singing • Instruments: Native American flute, Native American drum

  7. French • Folk Music, Opera, Basque Country, Corsica • Instruments: Organ, piano, electric piano, accordion, Synth, violin, harp
