  2. Looks like • Mollusks are slimy and bendy creatures that have no backbone (invertebrate) • Mollusks have no legs, they have tentacles to move around. Some mollusks have shells. • Mollusks can be all different colours.

  3. HABITAT • Mollusks live in the ocean and in our gardens. • Mollusks like moist areas and that is because they burrow under sand, rocks and mud. • Mollusks can be found throughout the world.

  4. diet • Big mollusks eat little mollusks. • Mollusks like to eat small fish and insects that swim around. • Plants, soft leaves and vegetables are also a part of their diet.

  5. Interesting facts • Mollusks can change their colour if they know an enemy is coming and they are going to be attacked by another creature. They can also change their shapes and sizes. • Mollusks comes from the Latin word meaning “soft”. • Clams, Oysters, Octopus, Snails, Conchs and Slugs are all mollusks. • Shells on some mollusks are their homes and the shell also protects them from danger.
