DGFT, Kanpur, Varanasi. Members of CLE, Kanpur. • Contacting new units by obtaining lists from GM-DIC, JT. DI, Kanpur and near by areas.

  25. Aggressive Strategy for Implementation of Membership • FIEO can focus on major issues e.g. • Membership Strategy • FIEO’s main strategy is the growth of membership. E.G. • Building awareness of the Organization and the value of membership by holding monthly press meets as suggested. • Dealing with highly independent small-business owners requires an aggressive presentation of the value of membership to encourage prospects to spend their time and money with the Organization.

  26. Conti….2 • Creating value of membership to encourage potential Exporters to join FIEO’s network. • At least twice-annual visits to all potential members within the state (concerned Regional / Chapter’s offices), or at least twice-annual telephone to potential associate members within the state by the Officer concerned. (Tele-Calling system) should be done.

  27. Conti..3 • To attract New Exporters by way of some Special Authorization from o/o DGFT Approval, for issuance of Preferential Certificate of Origin like SAPTA & APTA under multi-products commodities e.g. India-SriLanka Free Trade Agreement (ISLFTA) &  India-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IJCEPA), or any other as deemed proper on the lines of (MPEDA is authorized for Marine Products) O/o DCH is authorized for Handicrafts Products. This will help mobilizing New Membership & Revenue generation.

  28. Cont..4 • Strategy for Good Liaison should also be maintained with Regional O/o JT. DGFT, Moradabad, Kanpur & Varanasi for use of FIEO’s RCMC in various Export Promotion Schemes (FMS, FPS, DFIA, EPCG ETC.) through DGFT offices. They are raising objections in FIEO’s RCMC to Exporters who registered with FIEO in MPG. They force Exporters to get the RCMC of respective councils and SEPC. This effect our Members and Exporters.

  29. Programs to support these tactics are: • FIEO’s advertising and promotions to bring Exporters locations. • Special events such as Members Family Get-together, Cultural Shows and Some Samarohs i.e. Holi Milan etc. etc. through sponsorship with the vide coverage of Media. • Create a marketing campaign to attract target companies for membership and promote trade. • Develop strategies, on how to assist these companies in entering new markets.

  30. SUGGESTIVE PROPOSALS • Regular press meets by FIEO Higher Authorities at Kanpur and other prominent cities, this will act and help as a good marketing technique for FIEO and the organization will benefit in various ways like new memberships, publicity etc.

  31. SUGGESTIVE PROPOSALS • Open House Meet With DGFT / Addl. DGFT once in a year on FTP. • Open House Meet with Joint Secretary Drawback, Commissioner Customs and other Higher Authorities 2 in a year. • Xxxx===xxxx
