MISSION • Growing Up Wild is a bilingual wilderness program created to help diverse groups of youth and families with children develop: • Nature Awareness • Life Skills • Health and Fitness • Bilingual skills in Spanish and English • While GUW is dedicated to serving groups of youth and families with children from diverse backgrounds, we are especially committed to serving people from the Latino community.

PRESENTING GROWING UP WILD BASE CAMP Location Corralitos, CA 1,300 feet in elevation in the Santa Cruz Mountains between Gilroy and Watsonville Setting 4 secluded acres in the redwoods with a year-round creek Features Open space surrounded by redwoods Outdoor kitchen on deck Group campfire area Children’s play equipment Arts and crafts and more

  4. FAMILY CAMP OVERVIEW Provides camping experiences for families with children, ages 12 and under, at base camp Features cooperative outdoor living, nature awareness activities, hiking, arts & crafts, campfires, and more Special focus on community building among parents and families
