  1. The Tortoise and the Hare By Clay Schoenrock and Zac Watts

  2. Exposition • The hare was boasting about his speed and claiming that nobody can beat him. The turtle became very annoyed and challenged the rabbit.

  3. Complication •The turtle isn’t expected to win the race, and the rabbit takes a huge lead. The lead was so big, that the rabbit rested by a tree.

  4. Rising Action • The turtle sees the rabbit resting, and takes advantage of the situation and takes the lead

  5. Climax • The rabbit awakens and realizes the turtle was winning the race. • The rabbit chases after him hoping to win the race

  6. Falling Action • Even with all the rabbit’s strength and speed, he couldn’t catch up to the turtle, and the turtle wins the race.

  7. Denouement (Resolution) • In the end, slow and steady wins the race. • Finally they become friends and live HAPPILY EVER AFTER! 
