Common Terms • ARRA– American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (2009) • SFSF- State Fiscal Stabilization Fund • STC- Student-Teacher-Course Connection • SRM– State Report Manager • CourseWalk – ADE course mapping tool • Stakeholder ID • SIS/Vendor– Student Information System • Trial - SRM file submission

Getting your system ready for STC • Phase I – CourseMapping • Local course codes = AZ state course codes • CourseWalk Application • Student-Information-System (SIS) • Phase II – SIS configuration • Configuration of SIS system ensures that data extract can be submitted to state in the required format, containing the required data • SIS Vendors • Working with ADE • Contact them ASAP

  6. Making the STC magic happen • Phase III – Data Submission Window • District file • 40th day, 100thday and EOY (windows of submission) • 40th day = Mid-September – Mid-December • 100th day = TBD • EOY = TBD • File extract created by SIS is uploaded into State Report Manager application

More about educator stakeholder ID • Unique 16 digit code • Certification Unit at ADE • Fingerprint Clearance Card • District/Charter adds to database • Validate ALL teachers exist in Teacher Certification database • Where do I find the Educator Stakeholder ID? • Teacher Certification database accessed thru CommonLogon • Contact HR from district to provide EIDs

  8. JTED STC Reporting • Centralized JTED • Report on all students served • Course Code • External Provider • Concurrent enrollment (under review) • Satellite JTED • Member district to report students served • External Provider = JTED providing services

  9. Can CTE courses be added to the AZ course catalog? • YES! • Process (**) • SCED crosswalk document • Review by CTE administrators • Feedback to STC team • Updates to AZ course catalog • Career Exploration, Unique CTE Identifier…under review
