  2. As suggested by Professor McClurg, my boyfriend and I (holding hands of course) decided to take a trip to Walmart to read different warning labels of products. Here are some things we found….

  3. Windshield Washer Fluid

  4. Ziplock Sandwich BagsNot recommended for use in a microwave or for storage of liquids. Do not use this product in cribs, beds, playpens or strollers.

  5. CleanerCauses substantial but temporary eye injury.

  6. Light BulbsUnexpected lamp rupture may cause injury, fire or property damage. Avoid direct water, liquid or metal contact.

  7. Air FreshenerIntentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents can be harmful or fatal.

  8. CandleTo prevent fire: burn within sight, keep away from things that can catch fire … do not use refills or other candles in used and/or empty Febreze Candle jars.

  9. HairsprayDo not smoke until hair is thoroughly dry…

  10. Paper TowelsImproper microwave use can cause any paper product to burn … In case of fire, turn microwave off and leave door closed.

  11. PledgeDo not spray or use on floors as it could leave them slippery.

  12. BleachWear safety glasses and rubber gloves when handling this product.

  13. BottlesDo not put baby to bed with bottle. Prolonged contact with liquids may cause severe tooth decay.

  14. Various Tools

  15. Warning: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.

  16. Lamp Oil

  17. Oil is harmful or fatal if swallowed. Do not take internally.Burning this product may result in the emission of combustion by products which are known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or reproductive harm (the same California warning as the tools.)

  18. Moth Ball Packets

  19. There was a long list of precautions on the back including: what to do if ingested, if in eyes, if on skin, if inhaled, how to store and dispose, first aid, a hotline number, and a note to physicians.
