Budget 2013-2014 • Requirement of Food-grains for P/S - 4620.00 MTs • Requirement of Food-grains for UPS - 1695.79 MTs • Cooking Cost for P/S - Rs 1543.08 lakhs • Cooking Cost for UPS - Rs. 563.17 lakhs 4. Honorarium of cooks for P/S - Rs. 407.40 lakhs • Honorarium of cooks for UPS - Rs. 145.70 lakhs • Cost of foodgrains for P/S - Rs. 261.03 lakhs • Cost of foodgrains for UPS - Rs. 95.77 lakhs 8. Cost of transportation for P/S - Rs. 115.08 lakhs • Cost of transportation for UPS - Rs. 42.24 lakhs 10. MME - Rs. 57.12 lakhs Total - Rs. 3230.59 lakhs (For Primary & Upper Primary Schools)

  17. ISSUES : • MME – Small state having lesser budgetary provision, MME % may be enhanced, especially for capacity building. • Cooks - Enhancement of cook-cum-helpers may be considered . • MIS - Internet connectivity is a major problem at the block levels.

  18. STATUS OF SCHOOL HEALTH PROGRAMME • Micronutrient, Vitamin A, Deworming, Iron and Folic Acid and Zinc could not be provided much to the students except the executive health check up. • The Health & Medical Services Department (NRHM) have been requested time and again to provide the needful and it is expected that the same will be provided to the students in the near future.
