  1. 3rd Annual Creative Pitch Ideas Awards CPI Awards Overview and Rules

  2. What are the CPI Awards? • These annual awards will recognize the best new business ideas from around the Euro RSCG network • Brilliant ideas from any phase of the new business process can be submitted – from prospecting, to proposals, to the pitch itself and post-pitch follow up • These are NOT awards for the best strategic or creative ideas presented in a pitch, rather these are awards for smart tactics and tricks used in the new business process e.g. • An innovative new prospecting idea that’s really opened doors for your agency with new prospects • A new format that you’ve used for RFP submissions that has proved successful • Great ideas that you’ve used to run agency credentials meetings • Tactics that you’ve used in pitches to engage the clients in the process • Innovative post-pitch tactics, great follow up ideas, or interesting new fee proposal structures etc

  3. What’s the Purpose of the CPI Awards? • Brilliant ideas are meant to be shared, and one idea can go a long way if shared properly • The CPI Awards will serve a dual purpose: Firstly to applaud brilliant new business ideas within our network, and secondly, and perhaps most importantly, to share these ideas with all New Business teams around the Euro RSCG network • The best CPI entries will be made available to the network through the Global New Business Centre and will be a great place to get inspired and pick up great New Business tips, tricks and tactics from colleagues round the network

  4. Why Participate? • Because what’s better than global recognition for a great idea, a shiny trophy.. and cash! • Winning agencies will receive a cash prize to be allocated at their discretion • Gold Prize: USD 10,000 • Silver Prize: USD 5,000 • Bronze Prize: USD 2,500

  5. Timings & Process • The CPI Awards are now open and submissions will be accepted through April 20th 2012 • Email your completed entry form to rachel.conlan@eurorscg.com and nicole.pontes@eurorscg.com • Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be chosen by a judging panel of Euro RSCG New Business Gurus • Winners will be announced in June 2012

  6. A Few Rules for Entry • Submit your entry on the official CPI Awards Entry Form (see attached) • CPIs must have been used by the agency or agencies submitting the entry • The pitch effort needn’t have been successful for the CPI to be a potential winner • If you think it might be good enough, enter it! • We’re interested in all ideas – big and small. An interesting, successful little tactic is just as important as a more elaborate idea • There is no limit to the number of entries per agency

  7. A Word from Legal… CPI Disclaimer • All national, state, local and any other applicable taxes, duties, fees and/or levies are the sole responsibility of each individual winning team member.  In addition, any other costs or expenses not mentioned above are the responsibility of each individual winning team member.  Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for any liability associated with participation in the CPI Awards or acceptance of a prize. • All entrants agree that United States laws (specifically, New York law) shall apply exclusively to the contest and that any dispute arising from or related to the contest shall be brought and resolved under New York law in the federal and/or state courts located in the State of New York. The contest is void where prohibited by law, taxed, or otherwise restricted. • Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the CPI Awards for any reason whatsoever.  Sponsor further reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify these rules in whole or in part for any reason whatsoever. • By participating, entrants and the winners agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors, from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever, including, without limitation, property damage, personal injury and/or death that occurs in connection with, preparation for, travel to, or participation in the CPI Awards, acceptance of any prize, participation in any CPI Awards-related activity, and claims based on intellectual property rights, publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.  Euro is not responsible if any prize cannot be awarded due to acts of God, acts of War, natural disasters, weather, terrorism or other cause beyond its reasonable control.  Entrants who, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, do not comply with these rules or who attempt to interfere with the CPI Awards in any way shall be disqualified.  Prizes are non-transferable.
