Welcome to the Trieste AIACC compilation CD We have put together a CD of the presentations, additional material, photographs and feedback from the course We have tried to include as much material as possible (but if there are things that you still require please contact either the presenters or organisers) Neil Leary (NLeary@agu.org) or Tom Downing (tom.downing@sei.se) Documents compiled by Gina Ziervogel

  3. Using the CD You should be able to start the CD by opening the Open_CD file and following the links from there. The left frame shows the main categories and themes. Most of the files are either Word or PowerPoint files. They are opened in the browser, or can be viewed if you have these programmes. There is a folder called Install_viewers that has some of the viewers than can be downloaded to read word, excel, powerpoint and adobe files. These may be useful to Mac users.

  4. The legal stuff The material on this CD has been provided by several organisations and individuals. Please respect their intellectual property: • Contact software and data providers for permission and licences to use their material. They appreciate knowing who is using what! • When using presentations and documents from the facilitators, please include a source line. They also appreciate the recognition.
