  1. PubMed PubMed is the free interface that provides access to the MEDLINE bibliographic database of the National Library of Medicine.

  2. Medline • indexes literature in medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacology, veterinary medicine, the health care system, and the pre-clinical sciences. • contains bibliographic citations and abstracts from more than 4,800 biomedical journals

  3. Medline • is international • includes more than 14 million citations • covers from the mid-1960’s to today • can also be searched through FirstSearch

  4. PubMed Tutorials • Galter Library of Northwestern University has an excellent, user friendly PubMed tutorial available at: http://www.galter.northwestern.edu/tutorials/pubmed/

  5. PubMed Tutorials • Mount Sinai School of Medicine also has an easy to use PubMed tutorial at: http://www.mssm.edu/library/tutorials/pubmed.html
