  1. Celebrate Your Dream JobNuts & Bolts of Disney World Planning Magical trips for families from the comfort of your home!

  2. Disney World Training • Disney World is like no other travel destination • It must be planned correctly, or your client’s trip will be less than it should be • Well planned trips equal repeat clients and referrals, and more cash in your pocket!

  3. Rooms & Packages • Room only means just that…only a room reservation • Packages are at least two components: room and tickets (at least one day) • A dining plan may be added to a package, not room only • Room only reservations require one night deposit upon booking, the balance is due upon check in • Packages require a $200 deposit upon booking, balance due 45 days before travel • Insurance • Ages 2 and under must be counted in room but are + (4+, 5+)

  4. Options • My Magic+ • Magicbands • Fastpass+ • Memory Maker http://travel--time.blogspot.com/2014/03/walt-disney-worlds-magic-bands.html

  5. Dining Plans • Quick Service • Table Service • Deluxe • When it is a good value and when it isn’t • Based on # of nights, not days • Can only get with room AND tickets (at least one day ticket)

  6. Disney Tickets Key to the World (Magicbands in testing)

  7. What to choose • Base tickets versus Hoppers • Water parks and more • How many days? • Commission on tickets (nothing on less than 3 days) • What if your client only wants tickets (for example, if they have a timeshare)

  8. Dining407-WDW-DINE (939-3463)

  9. How to treat dining • Disney has over 100 restaurants • They are sold out almost all of the time • If your clients have the table service dining plan, they should make reservations equal to their number of sit downs. • If your clients have the Deluxe dining, they should make two reservations per day • You cannot stress enough that they NEED reservations MUSTS: Assume you will make your client’s dining reservations Make them anyway, even if they say they want to “wing it” Remind them of any cancellation policies Include infants on any reservations

  10.
