You can work alone or with up to 3 partners in your rotation group. • Try to show as much information as you can about photosynthesis, respiration and the cycle of energy, oxygen and carbon dioxide. • Requirements: • Terms: oxygen, glucose (sugar), water (H20), sunlight energy, and energy. • Concepts: Photosynthesis vs Respiration: How they work together • Picture: Plant, animal, mitochondria, and chloroplast • Make captions to explain what is happening • Use the saved power points to refresh your memory.

  2. Animals have mitochondria to make energy • Respiration: Process where animals make energy • Mitochondria needs to get sugar and oxygen • Mitochondria produces energy, carbon dioxide, water • Plants have chloroplast to make sugar (food)

  3. Animals eat food to get sugar for their mitochondria • Animals breath oxygen to get oxygen for their mitochondria • Mitochondria makes the energy for your cells and body to work • Mitochondria also make water and carbon dioxide on the side
