  3. I. Source of All Life • Sun • All life derives support from the Sun • Soil is important - Plants in sun • Rain is necessary for plants • The sun causes rain

  4. I. Source of All Life • God • Source of all spiritual life • Man became a living soul – Gen.2:7 • Dying in sin • John 14:6 “the way, the truth…”

  5. I. Source of All Life • God • John 17:3 “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” • God is source of all life Physical Spiritual

  6. II. Sometimes Forget Sun Often forget about the sun We take it as a matter of course It goes right on shining

  7. II. Sometimes Forget God Often forget about Him Jas. 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

  8. II. Sometimes Forget God We often forget to thank Him But He continues to Bless Let us not forget to praise and give thanks to Him.

  9. III. Abundant Energy Sun Superabundant energy Greater than needs of the earth Earth uses small fraction

  10. III. Abundant Energy God He is superabundant in energy Eph. 3:20-21 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”

  12. IV. Forgets None Sun For every blade of grass and leaf Not just for a few trees / flowers For the whole wide world Little pine on the mountain

  13. IV. Forgets None God Preparing heaven for all who will prepare for it No person is too poor or too low Acts 10:34-35 “God is no respecter of persons.”

  14. V. Source of Order Sun Earth Speeds around sun 68,000 MPH or 19 MPS All heavenly bodies are orderly Organized around the sun

  15. V. Source of Order God Center of our life When He is the center then all things are orderly and right Matt. 6:33 Source of order and harmony

  16. God is the Sun of Our life 1. Giver of eternal life 2. Continues to bless 3. Has more than is needed 4. Leaves out none of us 5. Source of harmony
