  2. You’re Girl Guides/Scouts You’re Girl Guides. You’re Girl Scouts. You’re Girl Guides/Scouts, through and through. Keep your promise, wear your badges; keep your laws in front of you. On with guiding; cheer to guiding, If there’s danger never mind. Keep on smiling, keep on trying; That’s the spirit, sister guides.

  3. “Unity in Diversity” “Many but one”

  4. Membership Without members, there is no reason for our existence. Since this is already done, it is our strength to build on further.

  5. Member Retention Marketing research – much more costly to attract/recruit new members and customers than retaining existing ones - train them - motivate - provide incentive to become life-long active members

  6. Plant and Flowers • Plant’s duty to procreate • Resulting in flowers with varied shapes and colors • Guiding activities – ‘doing the good turn’ • ‘Doing the good turn’ gives happiness and brings peace

  7. Questions 1. When is the most important time? The present 2. Who is the most important person? The person you are with 3. What is the most important thing to do? To care - Be careful - Be caring

  8. Inspiration • When one has faith, one can even move the mountain. • When we all unite, just imagine a much more powerful force to move AP into the fifth decade and the World organization into the next century focusing on PEACE

  9. Pearls of Wisdom You will be given a purse each – use it for any purpose as you may wish, but our intention is to use this as a symbol so we can collect the ‘pearls of wisdom’ to take back to our homeland: adapt, improve and apply them to our diverse background, then share the success stories with others - in turn, we all can learn.

  10. Unity in Diversity Like the plants and flowers, we grow, bloom and share to achieve “Unity in Diversity”
