  2. SNSI Updates Programs for rescue groups & shelters Automating so you will be able to request 1 – 10 certificates at a time, or 1-25 for community cat programs SNAP Automating so SNAP applicants will be able to apply for certificates & pay online Increasing cost from $20 to $25

Here’s a few… • Collect and share shelter data for increased transparency and evaluation. • Accurate counting of animals entering and leaving shelters on a local, regional, state, and national basis. • Allow organizations to compare their data with that of other organizations Supported by PetSmart Charities, Best Friends, Maddie’s Fund, Petco, ASPCA, HSUS, others.

  8. FACTS • 5 years/10 events, over 30 groups each event, over 7000 animals adopted • Return rate 2-3% (many groups report this is as good as or better than their normal rate) • Rescues and shelters do their own adoptions • We provide volunteer help and have a full medical staff at the event

  9. FACTS • No minimum number of animals to bring • NO time limit. You can choose to adopt or not! • Home visits are permitted but you must have them done during event hours and finalize your adoptions • We provide crates if needed • We advertise to families and the vast majority of people attending are families
