Ideology! • Individualist • Believed in free market economy • Believed in little to no interference from government • Collectivist • Believed that to some extent, individuals had an instinct to care for those around them as well. • Ex. Mother and her child. • His ideas lean more towards the Liberal Side (Right Wing)

  4. Why is this guy important? • He solidified capitalism/individualism through the publishing of his work: “The Wealth of Nations”. • This laid out the basis of most free market economies that exist today.
