    • Eliminate nuclear capability, destroy arsenal & tech, show world proliferation is unacceptable

  • Convince NK to Return to Talks

    • Contain threat, eliminate WMD, protect US interests in region & deter aggression

  • Engage NK in Bilateral Negotiations

    • End nuclear & missile program dvpt, repair relations & bring NK into internatl community (remove motivation to have nukes)

  • Withdraw from the Korean Peninsula

    • Eliminate pattern of manipulation & threats, lower US profile in region
