  9. Project Subcommittee Recommendations # 3 Issaquah Hatchery Water Intake Dam Removal Project • City of Issaquah • Match: $550,000 • Request: $800,000 • Recommend: $400,000 • Feasibility study for restoring fish passage

  10. # 3 Issaquah Hatchery Water Intake Dam Removal Project • Replace or remove hatchery intake structures • Improve upstream fish passage - 10 or more miles of high quality spawning habitat • Correct sediment maintenance problems

  11. # 3 Issaquah Hatchery Water Intake Dam Removal Project - Subcommittee Recommendations • Feasibility study only • Evaluate benefit to natural-origin salmon rather than hatchery-origin salmon • Evaluate current use of system by natural-origin salmon • Address straying issue

Project Subcommittee Recommendations # 7 North Creek and Sammamish River Confluence Habitat Improvement • City of Bothell • Match: $11,250 • Request: $33,750 • Recommend: $0 • Feasibility and design to improve shallow delta habitat to improve rearing conditions, and LWD and rocks to minimize sedimentation and deflect North Creek flow.
