  2. A Koala is a living thing Koalas show the seven Characteristics of Living things: Reproduction Excretion Respond to stimuli Move Nutrition Respiration Grow Koalas eat gum leaves So they need gum Trees to survive. Koalas need to be able To climb high in the Gum trees to be safe From predators.

  3. Grass is living Grass needs sunlight, Water and nutrients From the soil to survive Grass and other green Plants make their own Food in a process called Photosynthesis.

  4. These things are not living. None of the seven Characteristics Of living things Are displayed by These things. Therefore they Are non-living.

  5. Crocodiles are living things There were many Crocodiles at the Australia Zoo. They show all the Seven characteristics Of living things. Crocodiles have Very effective Camouflage which Helps them to be Great hunters. Crocodiles need food and water to survive. They need to reproduce. Crocodiles live in either salt or fresh water.
