  4. Lab Safety • Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for each chemical used is available to you upon request. • Know where 1st aid kit, eye wash and other safety equipment is.

  5. Lab Safety Please Report The Following to the instructor: • Injuries • Broken equipment • Broken glass or tools

  7. Lab Attire • Plan to get a little dirty or wet • No open-toed shoes

  8. Attendance • Mandatory • Be on Time! • Don’t expect labs to end early. • Let instructor know if you anticipate an absence.

  9. Grades • Determined by work performance • Take advantage of Office Hours • Don’t wait to the last minute to ask for help

  10. Preparation • Read assignment before attending lab • Be prepared to attend a field trip: sunscreen, hat, water (rain or shine)

  11. Behavior • ZERO tolerance for plagiarism • Field trips: You represent the school. Be respectful.

  12. Clean-up • Everyone participates • Disinfect your work area • Put equipment away

  15. Most Important • Keep you eyes open to your surroundings. • If your not sure, ASK!
