Users Council Business... • User’s Council representative elections-Reminder • Elected or appointed replacement needed for those representatives finishing their terms June 30, 2014. • New UC representative term will be July, 2014-2016. • Work with your ITC contact this spring to have a new representative who could attend the June or October 2014 meeting. • Send new representatives name to Emily rozmus@infohio.org

  3. INFOhioILibrarians Just a few of the things we’ll be working on…

INFOhio ILibrarian – Emily Rozmus I will focus on alignment of INFOhio resources with standards, assessment and professional practice, connect with public libraries to improve literacy and support the 3rd Grade Reading Guarantee, and create blended learning modules to support digital learning at public, charter and online schools. INFOhioILibrarian – Erica Clay I will focus on increasing online information literacy skills for students, coordinating services with OhioLINK, and connecting students to online learning modules through virtual reference. INFOhioILibrarian – Brandi Young I will focus on promoting online reading programs for students, classroom applications for Web 2.0 curation technologies, and exploring the best ways to support student achievement with new technologies such as MakerSpaces.

Learning Express Library 3.0 contains 9 Centers • School Center • High School Equivalency Center (New GED) • College Prep Center • College Center • Computer Skills • Job and Career Accelerator • Adult Learning Center • Career Center (formerly Workforce Skills for 21st Century Success) • Recursos en espanol

  18. Accounts • If you are currently using Learning Express Library 2.0, complete any tests or tutorials this school year. After June 30, you will no longer have access to them. • If you are a new user, begin using Learning Express Library Version 3.0.  You will have ongoing access to your tests and tutorials. • Your previous LEL account information  will not transfer to the new version.  ALL users must register as a new user. • Workforce Skills for 21st Century Learning is connected to Learning Express Library 3.0.  If you currently have an account for that, it will work with Learning Express Library Version 3.0 as well.
