Internationally recognized interdisciplinary research programs and Research Centers of Excellence provide students excellent career development opportunities. Chemical Biology Environmental Microbiology Immunology and Infectious Disease Life in Extreme Environments Plant Sciences Virology Research Areas: Biofilm Sciences and Engineering BioInspired Materials Bioinformatics/Genomics/Proteomics Biomedical Sciences Biophysics Cell, Developmental, and Molecular Biology The Molecular Biosciences Program offers competitive fellowships.
