  1. Travel Assignment:London

  2. Response to Travel Advisory • England currently has no nationwide advisory so I should be able to travel around safely • Security: I will need to be aware that occasionally petty such as theft, are committed, especially at tourist sites. I will have to ensure I keep my belongings close to me while touring. • I only require a passport to enter and exit this country. I cannot stay for more then 3 motnhs without a visa • There are no major climate concerns; however, sometimes during the winter there can be feirce windstorms.

  3. Trip Dates I am planning my week long trip to be from Wednesday July 2-July 9th Reasons: • At this time it is summer in England and during this time they have the best weather conditions. Other times during the year it frequently rains. • This is when I have my vacation time. • I will travel during the middle o the week because the flights are cheaper.

  4. Itinerary: Arrival: I will arrive Wednesday July 2nd and take public tranist to my hostel. It will be evening so I will go to bed. First full day: I plan to go on a walking tour to see some of London’s infamous sights. London “city walks” offers a 3 hour tour where I will see sights such as Big Ben, Westminster Abby, and the Globe theater.

  5. Day 2: Today I plan to visit the Tower of London. Here, I will be able to learn about the history of London and see amazing sights such as the glittering crowns of past rulers. I plan to use an audio tour to allow me to get the most out of the experience.

  6. Accommodation Throughout my time in London, I plan to ay at St. Christopher’s Inn. I believe the most important aspects of choosing an accommodation are the location, the price and the reviews. According to hostel world, St. Christopher’s Inn is walking distance to the London Bridge and is only a 5 minute walk from a tube station. This makes all the activities I wish to do very easy to get to. This hostel is not the cheapest for London; however, it is a mid-range affordable price and I am willing to pay for the prime location. Lastly, the reviews are all positive, The hostel received a rating of 89% based on 105 traveller reviews.

  7. Flight Information I have chosen an overnight flight on British Airways. The flight leaves YVR at 5:30 in BC and arrives at Heathrow at 2:00pm London time, on July 2nd. The return flight I have chosen is also British Airways and it leaves Heathrow at 6:00pm and arrives at YVR 7:00pm on July 9th. I chose these flights because they are direct (no transfers) and I like that I will fly overnight, this means I can sleep on the plane and not be overly jet lagged when I arrive.

  8. Budget Flight- Accommodation for 7 nights -
