  1. Some slides from official ESA press conference held on jun 17 2015. Annotations in orange boxes are not official from ESA

  2. 1 - bounce 2 - hit cliff 3 – final rest - 160*16km (confirmed)

  3. Rosetta distance from comet Jun 2015 Rosetta arrival at comet time Comet AU distance from sun Star tracker failures due to comet dust

  4. Onboard computers (main & redundant) Panel 6 (roof) Solar panels power production: 4 out of 6 are producing. Internal lander temperature at sunrise is already -35°C (minimum operating temperature is -45°C)

  5. Needed for drill and ovens (analysis) Typical comet day Enough power Sunrise Not enough power Sunset Save data to permanent memory before switchoff, waiting for next available upload slot.

  6. Did not reach the ground Did not collect samples

  7. Possible Philae location. Closer flybies needed for confirmation. Rosetta currently at 250 km from comet due to dusty environment. Closest approach in past months was 8 km.

  8. Planned landing site: northern emisphere, 9 hours of light out of 12.4. Actual landing site: southern emisphere during winter, hence mostly in shadow until june 2015.

  9. Perihelion (shortest distance from Sun): +480% Philae wakes up (jun 13): +320% Solstice (longest daytime): +210% Equinox (day starts being longer than night): +50% Energy increment due to 22° lander rotation on 14/nov/2014: +20%

  10. Lander at scale with image
