  1. My Summer Trip to Wyoming Lindsey Pecor

  2. This is a portion of the Yellowstone River where we hiked a path to go see the “Grand Fall” of Yellowstone located in the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.

  3. As you can see in the upper part of the picture, you can see the Lower Falls, or “Grand Fall” of Yellowstone. Here we found out that it is the parks tallest waterfall at 308 feet.

  4. This waterfall, aside from being the tallest, is also known as one of the great waterfalls of the North America continent. It has had more written about it than any other park waterfall.

  5. This image of the Yellowstone Lake.

  6. This is called the Confluence of the Yellowstone River and the Thorofare Creek.

  7. This is a smaller portion of the large Yellowstone Lake.

  8. This is an image of Buffalo Bill State Park, in this park we viewed the Absaroka Mountains.

  9. This is a picture of the Buffalo Bill Reservoir.

  10. WILDLIFE During our trip the Yellowstone, we were lucky enough to view the many different wildlife that Yellowstone National Park has to offer. Of the various species, we were able to view grizzly bears, elk, moose, and lots of buffalo.

  11. This is an image of a Bighorn Sheep. We saw a couple of these around the areas of the Canyon and Tower Fall.

  12. This is an image of a male elk. There were also able to see a lot of elk in Yellowstone but, I was very excited to see one who had many antlers.

  13. I was so extremely excited to be able to see a moose. This image is the only one we were able to get because the male moose was far away and we only got a glimpse of him before he ran into the moods. This is a small female moose who was running through a meadow. We were lucky enough to be able to stop the car and catch a picture.

  14. While we were in Yellowstone, there were so many herds of buffalo. At one point, they actually all ran to another field across the park and we had to jump on top of the cars to get out of the way. It was a very scary event.

  15. This is a picture of a mother buffalo and her new baby. I thought this little buffalo was so cute.

  16. We were also very fortunate to be able to see grizzly bears. We actual saw one on two occasions. However, once you see a bear near a road you have to report it to the park ranger to ensure that he is there to monitor no one gets hurt. Once the ranger arrives usually the bear runs back into the woods .

  17. The overall experience to Yellowstone National Park was an amazing experience. I learned a lot about the wildlife living in the park, as well as the many great wonders that are located. I hope to go back multiple times in my life because I feel like there is still so much of the park that we were not able to see and I would really enjoy viewing. I would definitely rate that trip as one of my favorite vacations we have taken as a family.
