  2. Bullying • Bullying is any type of harassment to a person in any way. Bullying occurs many times without anyone noticing and can go on unnoticed for a long time. Its that fact, that must be changed. Awareness must be raised about bullying so that people such as parents teachers etc. can help prevent and stop this growing issue.

  3. Types of Bullying • There are many different types of bullying some of those are: • Cyber Bullying • Physical Bullying • Verbal Bullying • Social Bullying

  10. What Students at School Can Do • Students fall into three different categories in school. They could either be the bully the victim of bullying or a spectator of bullying. Schools throughout America need to become aware that bullying could be a problem in their school. If bullying is made an issue in schools and students become aware of it as well, things can rapidly change. Simply informing students about bullying can change those three categories of students. Bullies may recognize their actions are wrong and stop. Bully victims may find the power to ask for help about their bullying situation, and spectators of bullying may realize that they should tell someone about a bullying situation they see to try and stop it.

  11. What Parents Can Do Parents can also help a great deal with the bullying situation around the country. By raising awareness to parents about bullying this opens up a new way to stop bullying. Parents that are aware that bullying could take place at their child's school are more likely to talk to their child about bullying uncovering that a) their child is being bullied b) their child may be the bully, or c) their child witnesses someone being bullied. Uncovering these things from kids is the goal that will play a key part in the fight against bullying.

  12. What We All Can Do • The main goal to stopping bullying is to raise awareness to as many people as possible no matter who they are. By doing so we are creating a country full of people that are aware of this growing problem and will be willing to help stop it. The more people that know, the better chance there is to stop bullying which will ultimately improve and potentially save the lives of the many kids that undergo bullying.
