Facts about Terrapins • Terrapins are intelligent and fast learners. • Terrapins are the oldest living creatures on the planet and have been around for more than 215 million years. • Back then, their bodies were little larger, and surprisingly, they had small teeth as opposed to turtles of today who have no teeth. • Today, they are found almost all over the world, except in Antarctica and Arctic, and more in the tropical regions. • If you are keeping a terrapin in an aquarium, try to maintain a temperature of around 24-28°C.

  3. These are my Terrapins.....Hurley and Mooch Hurley is my terrapin so I named him. Mooch is Cameron’s terrapin so he named him.

  10. What they do.... During the day Terrapins swim about calmly and don’t do that much. They sometimes scratch the sides of the tank and (always) knock over their toys, But during the night.....................
