  2. Geography -SouthAfrica coaststheIndianOceanandtheAtlanticOcean -South Africa borders with Namibia,Botswana,Zimbabwe and Mozambique -South Africa’s highest point is 3,450 meters high -South Africa doesn’t get super hot or cold

History -In 1867, South Africa discovered diamonds in a town called Kimberely -In the mid 1880’s gold was discovered in the transvaal witch caused the gold rush -In 1879 the Zulu’s were defeated by the British in Natal -In 1816 Shaka Zulu founded the Zulu army and expanded until 1826 -In 1856 the Natal seperated from the cape colony

  4. Archeology -Several artifacts found in south africa`s caves such as ostrich eggs, jewelry, beads, poison tipped arrows, and hunting kits

Political Science/Sociology -South Africa’s government type is the republic which means they share information with there country -South Africa’s philosophy is Ubuntu which means human kindness -The ANC or African National Congress believes it is responsible for liberation in the post apartheid era. -Education system has two national departments DBE and DHET -Two healthcare systems, Public and Private. -The South African police service is the national force of the republic

  6. Economics -South Africa’s currency type is called a rand -South Africa has minerals such as gold, diamond, coal, iron, platinum and more -South Africa also has agriculture resources like sugar cane, barley, tabacco, vegtables and livestock -South Africa trades with the European comission
