  7. What is an example of a disease used with pedigrees??? • Sickle-cell anemia: a disease where you blood cells have a sickle shape instead of a normal round shape. • Why do you think this would cause a problem?

  12. Case Study! • Yikes! Mr. Cash died and left all of his money to his two kids. A young man showed up, claiming to be his long lost son, Jake. The judge ordered blood tests for all involved. The blood type of Mr. Cash was on record as AB. His wife had type A. Jake was found out to have type O, so the judge dismissed the case.
