  2. Yanbu – June 10-13 [Dream Voyager / Liveaboard] We leave on Wednesday, June 10 and come back Saturday, June 13. 1 L’day required. Yanbu has been a long time favorite when it comes to diving in the Red Sea. It features the Iona and Argonaftis wrecks and of course the beautiful hard coral formations together with the bountiful soft corals and animal life. Yanbu became harder to reach these days if you are flying with Saudia as their timings has changed drastically since last year (new timings on the last page). We will do the normal 3 day dives and optional night dive on Thursday and Friday and 2 shallow dives on Saturday. BCD and regulator may be rented for SR25 each for the duration of the trip. Nitrox tanks can also be made available for SR35/tank (Nitrox Certification required). If you are able to fly with Aramco the flight cost will be refunded to you minus the ticket cancellation fee. Please note that flying with Aramco for personal reason will need the concurrence of your Department Head or his delegate. CLICK HERE to read the Yanbu Procedures and Guidelines or to download the Yanbu Flight Booking Form. Another way is to fly to Jeddah and drive up to Yanbu on a rented vehicle or if we have the numbers we can rent a bus. This may take around 3 1/2 hours of normal driving on really excellent roads. We are unable to request for an Aramco bus to bring us to Yanbu from Jeddah because both points has an existing airport. MAIN PAGENext page

  9. OMAN – September 19-25 [LAND BASED DIVING] 5 Days 6 days SR4100 SR4250 Join us during the September Id Holidays in Oman for a 5 or 6 days of diving. I have booked the Extra Divers villa from September 19-25 for the group. We will be diving the areas near Khasab with Extra Divers Musandam. They have 25 sites but the selection of sites depends on the weather condition. Most dives are drift dives but it does not mean only advanced divers and above are welcome to join. The dive operator in Khasab will have a divemaster/instructor with us at all times. The villa features 6 big double rooms , 3 of which can be converted to a triple room with an additional bed. The estimated cost based on 3 day dives/day are as follows and are inclusive of flights, accommodation (double or triple occupancy), breakfast, return land transfer from Sharjah airport to the villa, diving (boat, tanks, water and snack) and dive tax; Extra Divers do not offer night dives as part of their package so we only pay as we dive. The charge for a night dive is 22OMR minus 10% for our group. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DIVE OPERATION IS UNABLE TO OFFER NITROX BECAUSE OMAN LOOKS AT OXYGEN AS A DRUG. EVEN NITROX MIXTURES ARE TREATED THE SAME. MAIN PAGENext Page

  10. OMAN – September 19-25 [LAND BASED DIVING] • THE PLAN: • Leave from Bahrain on September 19 at 1800 on Air Arabia for Sharjah. You will have to arrange or provide your own transportation going to Bahrain and back. Also make sure that you have a valid Saudi Exit/Re-entry visa. • Meet Extra Divers personnel at Sharjah airport and board bus for a 2 ½ hours land trip to Khasab in Oman. You will need to arrange for your Emirates and Omani Visas as it is not included in the package. Please check the following internet sites for more details regarding visas; • The Emirates • Sultanate of Oman • Start diving on September 20 up to September 24 (5 days) or September 25 (6 days). • Board bus at 1200 noon on September 25 for Sharjah airport for our 1715 flight back to Bahrain on Air Arabia. • Miscellaneous: • Lunch, dinner and other miscellaneous (water, softdrinks, etc) are not included in the • package. The dive operator can arrange a catered BBQ dinner for the group at the villa • for approximately 6OMR/person/meal or we can go on a 10 minutes walk to the center • of Khasab where there are several nice Restaurants with good and reasonably priced • food for approximately 3.5OMR/person. • Previous PageMAIN PAGENext Page

  11. OMAN – September 19-25 [LAND BASED DIVING] • Miscellaneous: • Boat trip usually leave at 9:00am for a 45 to 60 minutes ride to the first dive site. Dive • time is around 60 minutes, depending on the depth of the site. We should be back at the • dive center around 3:00-4:00pm. • Things to see during the dives are; leopard sharks, stingrays, turtles, moray eels and if • we get lucky we may see a whale shark. I was informed that the regular reef fish such as • parrot and angel fish are bigger here than anywhere else! • As the dives are between the fjords of Oman we can always choose between drift or the • more relaxed dives. Again, depends on the group and the present weather condition. • If you are interested in joining us on this trip, CLICK HERE to register or send your • details to rbseco@gmail.com with the following; • Full Name • Contact Number • Previous PageMAIN PAGEEnd of OMAN information
