  4. Who is it aimed at? How long will it be? What will it achieve? What are the key messages? What is the medium? What is the purpose of the device? What devices/technologies will be used? How will you do it? What is it like? Could it be applied to other things? What can we re-use? Some Examples

  5. Aim • Make sure you are doing the right thing • Explore all options • Evaluate alternatives • End up with a clear statement of the aims, constraints, motivations etc • Can be used to evaluate the end result against

  6. Identify further questions How can we do it? What research is needed? What are the risks? What do we need to learn? Does it match our skills? ………. Work from all directions Sketch out ideas Make mistakes before they are expensive Get it right! Aim

  7. Now Do It! • Explore this idea • Generate ideas • Identify critical areas • Refine concept • Start to develop plan
