Two major celebrations for our milestone year: • The Stowe Event - October 20, 2012 • Stone Bench Dedication Ceremony • Induction of Minnie Dole into Vermont Ski Museum • Reception • The Denver Event - January 31 – February 3, 2013 • Conference hotel is Grand Hyatt Denver • Ribbon cutting for NSP history exhibit at SIA trade show • National Day at Ski Cooper • Visit the SIA trade show • Gala celebration with silent auction, speakers, awards • Ski day at Winter Park

NSP 75th Anniversary Stowe Vermont Memorial Bench Dedication, Stowe Ski & Snowboard Museum October 20, 2012 2pm-Bench Sculpture Ceremonial Ribbon Cutting 4pm-Sculpture Dedication and Celebration at the Rusty Nail which includes the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame Induction of C. Minot Dole http://vimeo.com/44863958 Click above link to watch 7 minute video Placed inside the bench will be a time capsule. National Ski Patrol members are encouraged to submit a 250 word essay on what it is like to be a patroller today and what does being a patroller mean to you. There will be a winning essay from each division placed inside the time capsule. Please submit your essay to editor@nsp.org winning essays will be chosen by September 15th, 2012.

  4. NSP Historical Exhibit Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Thursday Jan 31st, 5pm at the SIA Snowshow launches the celebration Initial drawing of area for the exhibit Come join other patrollers from around the country in a celebration- enjoy the exhibit, food and drinks.

Friday Feb 1st, National Day – not to be missed • $48 registration includes: • Chartered bus to and from Ski Cooper • Early evening pig roast dinner in Leadville • End-of-the-day celebration with food and drinks • On hill team events (blindfold toboggan race, 1 legged slalom, etc.) • Discounted lift tickets are available for family and guests of patrollers for an additional $16 (kids five and under ski free) • Patrollers are encouraged to wear their patrol jacket on the hill

  6. Saturday, Feb 2nd – visit the SIA Snow Show • SIA Snow Show • Visit the NSP Exhibit • See what is new for the 13/14 season before anyone else. • Largest tradeshow for snowsports in the country! Reps, retailers, resorts and media outlets. • All things alpine, snowboard, AT, telemark, cross country and snow shoeing • 20,000 attendees • Over 800 brands

  7. Saturday, Feb 2nd 5pm – 75th Anniversary Gala Start your evening mingling with friends at the cocktail hour. While enjoying your drinks, peruse the silent auction featuring many unique and desirable recreation items. Funds from the auction will directly support the NSP's Education Endowment. As the cocktail hour comes to an end, find your table in the Grand Ballroom for dinner and enjoy an amazing program featuring engaging speakers and heart-warming stories. • Gala Dinner at Grand Hyatt • $100 ticket price includes: • Cocktail Reception • An Amazing Silent Auction • Speakers • Awards • Glamor and glitz • Table/Supporter Options • $100 personal tickets • Buy Tables or Groups of Seats • Personal, groups of friends, your patrol, or as a company • Range from $750-$10,000 • Advertising in Program • Range from $150-$500 • Give auction items

Sunday Feb 3rd - Ski day at Winter Park With 3,060 skiable acres, 3000 vertical feet, 143 trails, 25 lifts, and 29 feet of snow annually Winter Park / Mary Jane is known in Colorado as "where the skiers ski." With beginner to expert trails, it's sure to provide everyone attending an outstanding day on the slopes. • Registration includes: • $55 for those who purchased a Gala ticket ($130 value) • $98 for others (patrollers and guests-$130 value) • Chartered bus to and from Winter Park • Breakfast and lunch (provided by WP YAP Program) • Full day lift ticket • The mountain requests that patrollers not wear parkas while on the hill skiing
