  5. Features 1. Get Emails Alerts on your mobile • Mail Notification is push based service (Mobile Terminated) • User registers for his email account details and notification preferences with MailOnPhone and gets new email alerts and headers on his handset.

Features How this works ? • User visit http://www.mailonphone.com website and register yourself. • User would specify his email address. • His POP3 mail server. • His mail account password. • Notification Preference. • MailOnPhone keeps checking user email box at the specified interval and sends a SMS alert with message header to user of new emails.

  7. 2. Receive Emails from Mobile Features • Mail reading is pull based service (Mobile Originated). • User sends SMS message with READ command. • User need to specify their username, password and mail server. For frequent usage, uses can register shortcut on MailOnPhone.

  8. Features How this works ? • User sends SMS message with READ command. • MailOnPhone server checks the user mailbox and sends back message with headers of last 3 new mails. User can use MSG command to read the content of message, More for message bigger than 160 characters. • User can send replies to emails or delete these emails from their handset only.

  9. 3. Sending Emails from Mobile Features • User sends SMS message with SEND command. • User can use address book or specify email address of the user, subject and message. • MailOnPhone also support message book for user ease. • MailOnPhone server relays the email to the users.

Multicast (Bulk Message) Gateway Features • MailOnPhone server allows to define multicast users for bulk messaging. • Could be sold to bulk SMS buyers like corporate/advertisement/internet portals. • MailOnPhone allows SMS sending facility via internet to users and keep accounting of how many messages a particular user send in specified period.

Features • Corporate Buys Bulk Account. • A user account is defined with account limit (say 10,000 SMS/month for jet airways). • A client software provided to user. • User can use this software to send messages via Internet. • MailOnPhone server keeps track of usage and billing.

  12. 5. Sending eGreeting (Shubkamana Card) from Mobile Features • A mobile user can send a eGreeting (from Shubhkamana.com) to email address of any other user using SMS.

Features • User sends CARD command in SMS. • User selects card type from menu like Birthday. • User gets description of available cards. • User sends the option and email address, message for the recipient. • MailOnPhone picks up the card from shubhkamana and sends it to the recipient email address.
