  2. CAREERS IN public relations • Many Communications major find careers in Public Relations. For example: • Public affairs officer • Public relations manager • Public relations writer • Careers in PR require a communications majors to apply their skills to keep their organizations reputation positive in the public eye and to the press.

  3. ANNOUNCER Sports Casting- Announce live at sporting events. News Reporting- broadcasting news on live and recorded television. Radio broadcasting- Disc jockey and announce for radio staions.

  4. JOURNALIST Editor- edit the work of writers, publications, and captions. Writer- novelist, script writers, news correspondents. Blogger- create online blogs Reporter- on scene journalism, reporting at the heart of controversy.

  5. MEETING & CONVENTION PLANNER • Plan meetings and events deciding on location, transportation, décor, and all other aspects. • EX: Weddings, government events, conventions, company meetings Etc.

  6. MARKETING DIRECTOR In charge of company advertising, and communicating value to consumers Managing customer relationships Deciding types of consumers and areas to target.
