  1. China’s Dress Policy All over the globe, every country has different category and kinds of policies when it comes in wearing dress. Consider also if it’s fitted when wore. When it comes in wearing of dress, the westerners are well known. In every kind of events or gathering (wedding, party, church, holiday, business, office and recreation) they wear different kind of clothes. On the other hand, there are other people still expect to be unusual. For example, they wear a pair of slippers; when they are asked to wear black tie, they wear a swallow-tailed coat; when they are invited to barbeque in the open air. Nevertheless, policy of dress is just a policy however not everyone follows this. We all know, China is very traditional oriental country. Chinese people pay a large amount of money as well as awareness to their set of clothes. They wear well-mannered dresses in order for them to respect by the other people. On this scenario, it’s very rare to see Chinese young woman wearing a short dress in public. If you going to visit or have a tour on China’s coastal cities as a foreign tourist, you will notice that the majority of the women don’t wear bikini. The westerners are more traditional than the easterners. Chinese women in western side are recommended to wear a conservative swimming suit, if not you will going a very attention-grabbing lady. Chinese wear a well-mannered dress when joining dinner usually during the traditional festivals like Spring Festival. Indecent clothes can make your pride lost. In this scenario, man commonly wears a suit and Mid-aged woman wear chinese dress. And young people wear semi formal. In all we know, red is the most like color of Chinese people. They believed that red symbolizes luck and fortune and only the bright colors can match the ambiance of festivals so that they prefer to wear red clothing in festivals or great ceremonies. On this scenario, prepare some brightly-colored coat if you travel to the country or visit your Chinese relatives during the Spring Festival. This is so-called ‘ When in Rome, do as Romans do.’ Don’t bother well about your dress in case that you are going to visit a Chinese family. They are not very choosy about their guests’ clothes even though Chinese people value a choice of etiquettes. Provided that you don’t wear too weird or body-revealed, it will be fine. Plain clothes are also acceptable. You better prepare a decent dress when you are in a package tour. Occasionally, some travel agency set a formal dinner and concert for you. If you look too untidy due to your clothe, you may not be allowed to enter in this event.
