FY 13-14 lActualsApril 2013-March 2014 • Fiscal year now closed • Actuals (final figures) now available Income: • Sponsorship & Grants secured for Global CVD Activities • Sponsorship & Grants from previous FY provisioned for the Prevention Implementation Programme and Guidelines Learning Tool. • EJPC royalties are increasing • Industry Sponsorship tends to be more difficult to obtain Expenses: • EuroPRevent 2013 : Financial Loss to be covered by EACPR reserves • Expenses re-assessed (ie, Winter Meeting budget & format) • Cost containment (travel expenses) proved necessary and well observed. In Conclusion • Our Association is redefining its strategic plan and business model to diversify sources of income. • Recommendations: • Close monitoring of EuroPReventincome / expenses • Review of operationalexpenses (travel & meetings) • Specific budgets for eachproject & close monitoring • Diversification of resources (products, membership, journal supplements) • Expand sponsor portfolio > Pharma, Devices, Sports, Nutrition… U.   11. Why a strategic plan? A strategic plan is a roadmap setting a clear vision of what the Association wants to achieve and how it intends to do so The need for a strategic plan discussed at the ESC Association Forum in May : Long-term planning will enable better management and performance as a united Society. This specifically applies to EACPR, to ensure cross-fertilisation between the sections, and definition of common goals A Pelliccia

How didwepreparethisstrategic plan? 2014-2016 Strategic objectives were presented to the EACPR Board in May EACPR Sections and committees were invited to draft their action plan in June This work served to prepare the EACPR 2015-2018 Strategic plan, together with Rick Grobbee, following the template provided by Sophie Squarta, ESC Specialty centre director. This could not have been possible without the contribution of each Section & Committee: Thank you!
