  1. ` Presents The One Mediator between GOD and Man The Man—Christ Jesus Part (1) Compiled and Illustrated from The study of The Word of GOD And The Spirit of Prophecy, July 2013

  2. The LORD has sent to us HIS Word, saying… When Adam and Eve heard The Voice of GOD calling unto them, they being naked and in darkness of His Glory, were led to hide themselves from The Presence of The LORD God among the trees of the garden. Although man was in darkness,

  3. “Let there be Light” (Genesis 1:3). “He hath remembered his covenant forever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations” (Psalms 105:8), Saying by HIS Word

  4. The LORD has commanded HIS Word to a thousand generations. Why? To be a Mediator between and Man GOD “For [there is] one God, and one mediatorbetweenGod and men, the man Christ Jesus…” (1 Timothy 2:5, 6).

  5. Why would there be a need for a mediator between GOD and man? To recognize the need for a mediator, we need to understand the purpose of a mediator.

  6. The word “mediator” is found seven times in The Scriptures. And all are presented in six verses of the New Testament.

  7. The word “mediator” is defined as (1) Onewho intervenes between two, either in order to make or restore peace and friendship, or form a compact, or for ratifying a covenant. (2) A medium of communication, an arbitrator, who can hear both sides and make a decision.

  8. A Mediator is One who intervenes between two (1) (2) To Restore To Reveal & restore To Reveal & restore and Man The Word GOD and A medium of communication, arbitrator, to make or restore peace and friendship. According to the definitions,

  9. “The earth was without form and void; According to The Word Commanded of GOD to a thousand generations, Without form– means that there was nothing there to have a form of any kind, either of a recognized form, or an unrecognized form. To make it clear to us, it was revealed that it was void- meaning an empty space.

  10. “The earth was without form and void; And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. and there waslight. (Genesis 1:2, 3) According to The Word Commanded of GOD to a thousand generations, And GOD said, and darkness was upon the face of the deep. Let there be light:

  11. The earth was created, as a medium to reveal The Light of GOD’S Glory to the other worlds, which were in darkness to The Truth of HIS Eternal Power and Godhead. The Earth “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse” (Romans 1:20). “Let us make man in our image, after Our likeness”. And GOD said,

  12. By The Light of HIS Word GOD made man from the dust of the ground, as a medium, to reveal HIS Glory by HIS Word. “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to [give] the lightof the knowledge of the glory ofGod in the face of Jesus Christ” (2 Corinthians 4:6).

  13. According to The Word of The LORD, GOD has commanded The Light of HIS Glory to shine (first) into our hearts, then (second), to give from our hearts “the lightof the knowledge of the glory ofGod”as we behold HIS Glory “in the face of Jesus Christ”.

  14. “Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice [is] to the sons of man. O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart. Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips [shall be] right things… By The Light of GOD’S Word, The LORD said, “For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness [is] an abomination to my lips. All the words of my mouth [are] in righteousness; [there is] nothing froward or perverse in them” (Proverbs 8:4-8).

  15. So, why did man need a Mediator, if man was made to reveal The Light ofthe knowledge of the Glory ofGod, as revealed by Jesus Christ? By The Light of GOD’S Word “…the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Genesis 2:16, 17).

  16. The Serpent said unto the woman, “And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruitof the tree which [is] in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die” Genesis 3:2, 3). “….Yea, hath Godsaid, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?” (Genesis 3:1). And the serpentsaid unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: (Genesis 3:4).

  17. By receiving the fruit of the Serpent, the woman was led to believe that her eyes were closed, because she trusted in GOD and HIS Word, to believe also that she would die by eating of the forbidden fruit. The Serpent said unto the woman, “For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:5).

  18. Although GOD Spoke The Truth by HIS Word, “…the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, “shetook of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto herhusbandwithher; and he did eat” (Genesis 3:6).

  19. Instead of beholding and eating of The Tree of Life, “…the woman saw that the tree [was] good for food, and that it [was] pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make [one] wise, she (1st) “took of the fruit thereof, and did eat” to receive his fruit into her heart, and (2nd) shegavehis fruit “also unto herhusband” who “did eat”.

  20. “And the eyes of themboth were opened, and they knew that they [were] naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. By accepting the fruit of the Serpent, Adam and Eve separated from The Light of Life. And death and darkness came upon them, to keep them from revealing The Light of The Knowledge of The Glory of GOD in them and through them. “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wifehid themselves from the presence of the LORDGod amongst the trees of the garden.” (Genesis 3:7, 8).

  21. “They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, [being] mineenemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored [that] which I took not away” (Psalms 69:4). The Word has said, The Word of GOD restored to Adam and Eve the gift of life, even though they were led to join themselves with the enemy of their souls.

  22. To answer the question of why man needed a Mediator, “Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; The Word has said, “neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: “But your iniquities have separatedbetween you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear” (Isaiah 59:1, 2).

  23. “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. “If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: The Word has said, “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship onewith another, …” (1 John 1:5-7).

  24. To Reveal The Will of GOD to men Because sin separated man from his fellowship with GOD to reflect and reveal HIS Glory as seen in Christ, GOD sent The Covenant of HIS Word to reveal The Light of HIS Word to thedarken heartsof men, The Word said, “For the commandment [is] a lamp; and the law [is] light; and reproofs of instruction [are] the way of life” (Proverbs 6:23). The Word of GOD has said,

  25. “Blessed [is] that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. Many, O LORDmy God, [are] thy wonderful works [which] thou hast done, and thy thoughts [which are] to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: [if] I would declare and speak [of them], they are more than can be numbered.

  26. “Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mineears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book [it is] written of me, I delight to do thywill, O my God: yea, thy law [is] withinmy heart. I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.

  27. “I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declaredthy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealedthy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thylovingkindness and thy truth continually preserveme” (Psalms 40:4-11).

  28. To Reveal The Will of GOD to men When Moses received from The Presence of The LORD HIS Word—The Covenant of HIS Law “…it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses hand, The Word said, “…when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his faceshone while he talked withhim” (Exodus 34:29).

  29. To Reveal The Will of GOD to men “And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him. The Word said, “And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them” (Exodus 34:30, 31).

  30. To Reveal The Will of GOD to men “…And he came out, and spake unto the children of Israel [that] which he was commanded. The Word said, “And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the vail upon hisface again, untilhe went in to speak withhim” (Exodus 34:34, 35).

  31. To Reveal The Will of GOD to men Notice that Moses was a medium by whom, GOD by HIS WordcommunicatedHIS Covenant to the children of Israel. Moses was a mediator between Christ—The Word and Covenant of GOD, to the children of Israel. The Word said, He was made a god unto Pharaoh, because of The Power of GOD’S Word abiding in his flesh. But he did not exist with GOD from the days of Eternity. It was The Christ of GOD in him, Who existed from the days of Eternity.

  32. “These words the LORD spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them untome. And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, [even] all the heads of your tribes, and your elders;”

  33. “And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heardhis voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that Goddoth talk with man, and heliveth. Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hearthe voice of the LORD our God any more, then we shall die. For who [is there of] all flesh, that hath heardthe voiceof the living God speaking out of the midst of thefire, as we [have], and lived?”

  34. “Go thou near, and hear all that the LORD our God shall say: and speak thou unto us all that the LORD our God shall speak unto thee; and we will hear [it], and do [it]. And the LORDheardthe voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and the LORD said unto me, I have heardthe voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken.”

  35. “O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep allmycommandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their childrenfor ever!” (Deuteronomy 5:22-29) End of Part (1)
