It takes approximately two months to obtain Account and complete the verification test (entire process). Training of SIP verification test Would like NSC to participate. • Engineers or technician of NSC who is going to carry out the SIT need to attend the technical training of SIT which will be held in UK at the end of this month. • (Training information will be sent by PCCUK later. )

3. Would like NSC to do PCC Confidential 22/Mar/2007 Register Confirmation (RC) Would like NSC to help us. • * The RC will be carried out from Japan side if the provider service is opened into the Internet. • We need to test it on the site by PCC or PCCUK if the network environment is closed, and please understand that our onsite activity will take some time to correspond to it. • (We would like to discuss the schedule of software release later, since it may be required designated Type Approval by Carrier or new development to use Carrier services.) SIP Interoperability Test (SIT) Would like NSC to carry out. * NSC will carry out the SIT (It might take about three days), and the results have to be told to us. * PCC and PCCUK will evaluate the test result and captured data. Would like NSC to carry out. Field Test • * If the SIT data is acceptable, NSC will carry out the FT and give us the test conclusion. • PCC and PCCUK will evaluate the test result. • (NSC is required to find the FT sites in advance to start the SIP verification test early.) Would like NSC to announce to dealers. Notice of the test result * NSC will receive some notification of the availability to provider with SIT and FT result. Caution : It might have to be announced if our system had limited-functionalities to some providers, such as CLIP/COLP which is not fully supported yet etc. (If NG items are found as a result of the verification test, the development plan (for next version) will be decided after examining the NG items. Please understand that some items may not be supported depending on plan.)

Required skill of NSC engineer or technician 1) System configuration skill of IP PBX（TDA/TDE) series. 2) A person who is familiar with IP and/or VoIP technology area, is desired. 3) To participate the technical training which will be held in UK at end of March. 2. What is provided to NSC 1) Document of SIP verification test items, Document of SIT procedure and To hold the technical training of the verification test. 2) SIP-G/W card. n Set (n: total number of system) 3. What is prepared by NSC 1) To obtain a pair of service account (User ID and password) from test-target provider. 2) To obtain service specification sheets from test-target provider, if any. (It might help us to understand how to actually access their services such as DDI, CLIP and etc.) 3) Broad band lines and equipments for SIT (Refer to the appendix in detail) 2 Line/ each provider for test 1) Broadband subscriber line (such as xDSL) 2) TDA30 system with two proprietary-telephones and SVM card 1 set/ when each provider is tested * Proprietary-telephones have to have at least two lines of LCD area for displaying caller ID numbers. * SVM card is required for DTMF transfer test. 2 set/ same as above 3) PC (capture software should be installed) 2 set/ same as above 4) L2-Switch (Manageable type) 1 set/ same as above 5) G3 facsimile 1 set/ same as above 6) SIP phone (which is most recommended by provider) Caution : Above mentioned 2) to 6) items are always required when other providers’ test will be continued from now on.

10. Register Confirmation (ＲＣ) PCC Confidential 22/Mar/2007 Purpose of this test To find out the basic-setting network-parameters, beforehand, which will be used when the system is installed. Conditions Basically, Register Confirmation (RC) will be carried out from Japan side while the providers service are opened to the public Internet environment, but if it was not opened, RC might have to be carried out on each actual site by PCC or PCCUK engineers.
