  1. MY SON (click the mouse to see each slide)

  2. She jumped to her feet as the surgeon left the operating room. She said:  ”Where is my little boy? Will he be ok? When can I see him?” The surgeon said: “I’m sorry. We have done everything that we could.”

  3. Sally said: "Why is it that children have cancer? Why does believing in God make no difference?Where were you God when my son needed you?"  The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes before taking him away. "

  4. Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said goodbye to her son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick curly hair.  "Do you want a lock of his hair?” asked the nurse.Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of hair of the boy, put it in a plastic bag and gave it to Sally.

  5. Sally explained that Jimmy wanted to donate his body to the university for study. He said it might  help someone else. I did not want to at first, but Jimmy said, ”Mom, I will not be useful after my death. Maybe this will help another little boy to spend one more day with his mom.” She then thought, ”My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could."

  6. Sally left Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after having spent most of his last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy’s lock of hair on the seat beside her in the car, along with a bag of all Jimmy’s toys.

  7. The drive home was difficult for Sally. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's bag, with all of his toys that had been at the hospital, and went to Jimmy’s room. She began to place the model  cars and other personal things in his room exactly where he always put them. She fixed his bed and, hugging his pillow, she cried and fell asleep.

  8. It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:

  9. "Dear Mom, I know I will miss you, but do not think I'll ever forget or stop loving you, just because I'm not around you to say ”I love you.” I will always love you Mom, more each day. One day we will see each other again. Until then, if you adopt a little boy ... you'll be less lonely. He can have my old room and play with my toys.

  10. But if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably will not want the same things as us boys. You'll have to buy dolls and stuff girls like, you know. Do not be sad thinking about me. It's really a beautiful place.  Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I arrived here and showed me around, but it will take time to see everything. The angels are so cool!

  11. I love watching them fly.                               And, you know what?Jesus is not like any of his pictures! Yet when I saw him, I knew it was him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD! And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on the lap of God and speak with him, as if I was somebody important. Then I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you goodbye and everything. But I knew such a letter was not authorized. Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own pen to write you this letter.

  12. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who will bring this letter to you. God told me to give you the answer to the question that you asked: "Where was God when I needed him?"

  13. God said: “I was in Heaven, waiting to bring your son to be with me at the right time, at the time when he could not bear the cancer anymore. I was waiting to heal your son completely, just as I waited and watched My Son, Jesus on  the cross. I am always here, watching over all my children and wanting to bring them to be with me in Heaven. “   Oh, by the way, Mom, nobody else can see what I've written except you. For all others, it's just a blank page. Isn’t that cool?

  14.  I need to give God his pen back now. He needs to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I will be received at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food is good.

  15. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you.I am no longer sick. The cancer is all gone. I'm happy because I could no longer bear the pain and God could not bear to see me so bad, either.

  16. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The angel said I was a special delivery! Not bad, right?

  17. Signed by the love of God, Jesus and me.

  18. (Let's see if Satan will stop you.)  Take 60 seconds and send this letter,  And you will see that a multitude of believers will pray for each other.  Then, sit down and you will feel the Holy Spirit in your life. God loves you.

  19. Send this letter by email with the subject:  It's beautiful! Try not to cry.
