Active Membership Policy • “…continuous attendance at a minimum of one General Assembly Meetings and one additional social or networking event each semester” • One general member meeting per month • More professional events in the fall • Vice versa in spring • Look for the sign-up sheet at every event! • Sign-in for tonight!

  13. Chem-E Car Competition • Chem-E-Car is AIChE's annual competition engaging college students in designing and constructing a car powered by a chemical energy source, that will safely carry a specified load over a given distance and stop. • The competition, which involves multiple regional competitions and a final competition at the Annual Student conference, increases awareness of the chemical engineering discipline among the public, industry leaders, educators, and other students. • See Stephanie after the meeting if interested!

Freshmen Representative Elections • 2 elected (1 Honors + 1 Traditional) • “Responsible for giving announcements to the freshman classconcerning upcoming events, including networking  and recruiting opportunities provided by the organization • Serves as a liaison between the student body and the executive board. Brings any concerns or comments to the attention of the executive board including organization conflicts with important test dates or other class events. Reports a list of potential conflicts at each Executive Board meeting as soon as the information is available”
