  2. Project Update • Customer Service Center • Opened April 11th • MnPASS Express Lane • Opened May 16th

What is Working • Dynamic Pricing • Speeds are being maintained • Transit reports no impact on operations • Enforcement • Very low violation rate • Technology aiding in enforcement • Access points • Relatively low violation of striping • Customer Service • Satisfaction with usability of system and reasonable pricing

Operations Changes • Hours changed for Diamond Lane • Changed on June 9th • AM: Tolled Eastbound 6 AM to 10 AM • PM: Tolled Westbound 2 PM to 7 PM • Reversible road section always tolled for SOVs • Auxiliary lane construction • Westbound from Hwy 100 to Hwy 169 • Two lane exit to Hwy 169/General Mills • Started August 22nd, complete late November

  9. Enforcement • Violations • HOV violations very low • Double white line violation rate is very low • “No violation” stops a challenge • Traffic flow not being impacted • Enforcing/assisting other events • Technology is key • Mobile readers a first • Beacons a deterrent

  10. Customer Response • Favorable feedback from customers • Transponder leases • Leasing 92 per week since beginning of July • 1% account cancellation rate • 90% of sign ups are web based • Most frequent customer interaction: • “What’s my PIN number?”
