  2. Article 24. Accept Dancer Farm Drive as a Public Way (Citizens' Petition) To see if the Town will vote to accept Dancer Farm Drive as an accepted public way, as laid out by the Board of Selectmen, as shown on plans in the Office of the Town Clerk; or take any other action relative thereto. • The residents of Dancer Farm Drive are asking the voters at Town Meeting to accept the road as a public way for the following reasons: • The development of Dancer Farm Drive is complete, no further construction or land development is planned. • All eight homes on Dancer Farm Drive are sold and occupied. • Craig Hughes, Superintendent of Streets and Mike Angieri, Town Engineer have reviewed and approved the as-built plans and have agreed, the developer, Keystone Development Corporation has completed all aspects of the project, as agreed with the Town and have deemed the project complete. (See Letter dated Oct 29, 2018 as submitted to the Planning Board.) • As citizens, property owners and tax payers in the Town of Dover, we are collectively paying approximately $175,000 in Real Estate Tax annually (based on current valuations and rate); as such we would like to enjoy the benefits afforded to other property owners and tax payers in the Town, including plowing and sanding, sweeping and other standard and customary road maintenance1 activities, consistent with an accepted public way in the Town of Dover. • _____________ • 1 For the avoidance of any doubt, The Dancer Farm Estates Trust HOA will continue to be responsible for the Subdivision Drainage System, including the cleaning of basins and maintenance and up keep of the Drainage System, as outlined and agreed in the Declaration of Easements, Covenants and Restrictions for the Dancer Farm Estates Trust, at is sole cost and expense.
