Bridging the Gap (II) • A corporate partner allocates an annual amount to support of research in pre-defined areas of interest. • The fund solicits highly promising projects with IP position, development plan and clearly defined commercialization path • A joint steering committee of the corporate partner, TAU and Ramot evaluated and selects projects • Ramot provides strategic and scientific guidance with a clear market focus • The corporate partner has certain rights in the IP generated in the research • Two such multi-million dollar funds are currently operational: nano-technology and smart-cards
