  2. Composition notebook • Today is September 18 or 19. • What does it mean to “choose your friends wisely?” How do you choose your friends? • You have 5 minutes to complete the prompt.

  3. Composition notebook check • Please bring your composition notebook up to the teacher basket. I am checking for 15 entries from August 23 to today. I will be checking on them while you are performing peer reviews.

  4. Peer review • You will peer review a table mate’s paper based on the handout you picked up. You will be required to write some answers on the paper itself and some on another sheet of paper to give the author. • Once you have finished the review, hold on to it until I tell you to return it to the author. We will spend a few minutes discussing our peer reviews and clarifying any comments.

  5. Revision do’s and don’ts • A review of things you will want to do before you turn in your essay next week. • You may have the rest of the period to revise and complete your essay. It is due to turnitin.com on Sunday. • The final packet is due in the teacher basket on Tuesday.
