  3. Caleb • Was the leader from Judah • He spoke up against all the others 13:30 • The people wanted to kill him and Joshua 14:8 • A turning point in their history 32:6-15 v.12 • He got first choice Joshua 14:6-13 • God rewarded his determination, faith • He still had to take it Judges 1:12-20

  6. Joshua • Joshua demanded obedience 1:10-20 • Was organized 2:1; 10:42; 18:3-10 • Diligent 10:9 • He had great faith 6:1-19 • He gave glory to God 23:1-5 • He challenged the Israelites to make a commitment to God 24:1-28 • He was the most effective leader 24:31
