Courage Classic 2008 August 2nd & 3rd The 15th Annual Courage Classic Charity Championship will benefit the Combat Casualty Assistance Campaign of the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society. www.nmcrs.org We proudly stand behind those giving themselves in service to our nation and will commit to providing as much support as we possibly can. For those that refuse to stand behind the Men and Women of our Armed forces, please feel free to stand in front of us!

  2. The Courage Classic is scored as a “Time Plus” match. Each competitors score will be their raw time plus any penalties added or bonus’ subtracted. Penalties and bonus’ are assessed as adding or subtracting time from your raw time. All pistol stages will require no more than 30 rounds, IF a competitor does not miss. General Penalties are: Failure to Engage: +15 Seconds (Not shooting at a target that has been available) Failure to Neutralize: +10 Seconds (Failing to get at least 1 A OR: 1 B or C AND 1 D or knock down* a steel target.) Miss: +5 Seconds (Less than 2 scoring hits on target) General Procedural: +5 Seconds to +300 Seconds (Not performing with the intent of the stage design and 1 per shot fired if deemed to have gained competitive advantage by the procedural) *Some steel targets only require a hit which will be called by the Range Officer. All Stages Are in the process of revision and Subject To Change Prior To The Start Of The Match!Check Back Frequently.

  4. Team Steak Break! Each team will have up to 3 of its members stand side by side see how fast they can cut the 2x4 in two using their handguns. Each shot touching the black lines adds 5 seconds; each shot outside the black lines adds 10 seconds. Time is added to combined team times. Start signal audible, stop time, last shot fired.

  5. Taliban Alley Pistol At signal, engage 25 yard head shots with rifle and bonus golf balls from box A. After abandoning rifle, draw handgun and engage remaining targets as they become visible. Rifle

PP2 PP1 T1 Box A Bomb Squad Re-Visited BOMB Goes Here T2 P7 Box B P1 P2 P3 P4 P5 P6 Pistol T3 6 Rounds Shotshell; 14 Rounds Pistol – At signal, engage P1-P6 with Shotgun then place shotgun in safety barrel, then retrieve Bomb and engage P7 and T1-T3 while transporting bomb to bomb disposal barrel. Engage PP1 & PP2 then proceed to Box B (Barricade) and then from within box and through port engage P-8-P12 (whirllygig). BOMB! Shotgun
