  1. Better Fertility from Swedish Reds Mark Shadwick is milking Holsteins, Swedish Reds and crossbred cattle in his Skyhigh herd at Raughton Farm in Cumbria. Mark has visited Sweden many times and is a great enthusiast for the Swedish Red breed - he has imported more than 60 Swedish Red and Danish Red cattle in recent years. “The Swedish Reds are easy to manage. They milk really well, with very high fat and protein percentages, and they are also easy to get in calf.” says Mark. The fertility analysis below shows the excellent results for the Swedish Reds.
