  1. Choosing LED for the Office Space The energy-efficient, cost-effective, and long-lasting lighting solution.

  2. What is LED? LED means light emitting diode, and is type of lighting that has existed for over 50 years. It has only recently, however, grown in popularity, due to its viability in both commercial and home applications and advances in the way LED technology works. Today, LED is the more energy-efficient, cost-effective, and pleasant alternative to traditional incandescent or fluorescent lighting.

  3. How LED Works LED works through the concept of electroluminescence, which is the illumination of material through electrical currents. Unlike other lighting solutions, electroluminescence doesn’t produce heat, and thus, LED lamps don’t burn out.

  4. The Importance of Energy Efficiency Being energy efficient in business can do wonders for your company. Energy efficiency saves costs, but it also brings with itself the boon of being environmentally conscious. Through energy efficiency, you can: • Cut down on monthly costs. • Reduce your environmental footprint. • Help you market your business. • Promote production of greener products.

  5. Why You Should Replace Your Older Lighting Older lighting is typically fluorescent, and in some cases even incandescent. These are inefficient forms of lighting, and work by emitting heat and light: • Incandescent light bulbs produce heat and light by passing electricity through a thin tungsten filament. This filament often burns out, causing these bulbs to have a lifespan of 1 percent to 5percent that of your average LED bulb.

  6. Why You Should Replace Your Older Lighting • Fluorescent tubes utilize the electrical arc of two electrodes and a tube filled with mercury and pressurized gas to create stronger, colder light. However, these two age quickly, and require a lot of energy to warm up and start. LED bulbs, on the other hand, produce no heat, and last up to 100,000 hours under the right conditions.

  7. How Lighting Affects the Way We Work Lighting plays a major role in productivity and efficiency at the work place. Modern research shows that the key to providing the perfect lighting conditions for performance and attentiveness lies in variability. Unlike other lighting solutions, LED bulbs can easily be dimmed and set to various levels of light intensity for optimal lighting at the office.

  8. Choosing the Best LED Products For You Through the right LED manufacturers, you can create an office environment or home environment that best suits your needs and activities, from LED solutions in factory workspaces and writing rooms to LED lighting at home, in a study, or at a reading nook. An LED lamp lets you choose how to best light your environment, and it’ll keep it bright for years to come.
